His hands-on industry experience allows him to provide valuable insights, ensuring that customers receive the most effective and reliable tools for their needs, optimizing both productivity and quality control.
Michael Irvine has over eight years of experience working in one of Europe’s most advanced truck assembly plants. During this time, he has witnessed the transition from paper-based job sign-offs to full process control, giving him a deep understanding of error-proofing assembly processes. His expertise lies in minimizing defects and ensuring traceability to identify and resolve issues at their source. As European Product Manager at Durofix, he applies this knowledge to help customers integrate the right tools into their assembly lines effectively

Matthew Downey is the Marketing Manager at Durofix, bringing four years of experience within the company. He oversees marketing strategies, brand positioning, and customer engagement, leading product launches, digital campaigns, partnerships, and content creation. His goal is to ensure Durofix’s tools reach the right audience while upholding the brand’s reputation for quality and innovation.
With over 15 years of marketing experience, including a decade in the automotive industry, he has worked extensively in films, games, and music videos. He played a key role in designing the world’s first monster truck and trailer for JOST and oversaw marketing campaigns for the acquisition of Mercedes-Benz axles. As a VFX & CGI artist, his work featured on the box art for Activision’s NASCAR The Game.y
Matthew Downey is a stand-up comedian and comedy club runner, dedicated to creating engaging performances and fostering a vibrant comedy scene. He is also passionate about game development, actively working on his own game and A keen photographer. Matthew enjoys capturing compelling visuals, blending his artistic eye with technical expertise. His diverse pursuits reflect his passion for storytelling, creativity, and engaging audiences across multiple mediums.


Elliott Akers is a Technical Sales Engineer at Durofix. He collaborates with distributors, dealers, and end users to provide expert guidance on 60V, Pro Assembly, Transducerized, and Oil Pulse tools, ensuring clients receive tailored solutions that enhance efficiency and performance. By offering technical support, demonstrations, and application-based recommendations, he helps maximize productivity and operational success
Elliot brings a strong technical and commercial background, combining eight years of engineering experience with three years in consultative sales. His engineering expertise enables him to understand complex technical challenges, while his consultative sales experience allows him to effectively communicate solutions tailored to client needs.
Outside of his professional role, Elliott enjoys mountain biking, traveling, and exploring new places. Whether discovering new trails or immersing himself in different cultures, he is always seeking fresh adventures.
Reece Wyatt is an Account Executive at Durofix, bringing four years of experience to the company. His role involves managing key accounts and clients, developing and launching sales strategies for the Pro-Assembly, 60V, and G12 Ranges in B2B markets, and exploring new business partnerships. He is responsible for client meetings, growth and target setting, as well as sales and stock forecasting. His goal is to ensure that clients are fully onboard and motivated to sell the Durofix solution, demonstrating to end users why Durofix is the right choice!
Before joining Durofix, Reece spent six years in retail and B2B/E-commerce management at Science in Sport & PhD Nutrition, gaining extensive experience in sales strategy and account management.
Reece describes himself as integral, dutiful, and incisive. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking, always looking to tick off a new peak or scenic trail. He also enjoys taking his dogs for long walks, embracing the outdoors in any weather.


Sean Wang oversees the rigorous quality assurance of our power tools, ensuring they meet the highest standards before reaching our customers. By combining thorough inspections of existing products with comprehensive market research, he helps guide the development of new tools that address evolving customer needs.
He also provides front-line technical support, resolving any issues promptly and efficiently to maintain customer satisfaction.
Sean has a Master’s graduate in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering. Specialised in power electronics and electric motors, deeply proficient in the engineering behind cordless electric power tools.
Outside of work, Sean is passionate about music, playing both the piano and guitar, and enjoying the occasional singing session. As a proud Mancunian, he is a dedicated Oasis fan. Staying active is also a priority for him, and he has even competed in a powerlifting competition.
Chris Harvey is a Marketing Executive at Durofix, overseeing the company’s social media channels. He creates relevant content to strengthen the brand and maximize exposure of the product range.
With 17 years of experience in graphic design and marketing, Chris has worked across various industries including advertising, hospitality, leisure, and automotive. They have collaborated with prominent brands like Honda, Volkswagen, SEAT, BMW, and Porsche.
Chris describes himself as humorous, adaptable, and analytical. Outside of work, he enjoys football, drawing when time allows, traveling, spending quality time with his family, and socializing with friends. A fun fact about him is that he can comfortably write backwards—a skill he attributes to being left-handed. If he could have any superpower, he would choose flying for the freedom, limitless travel, and fresh perspective it provides.
